Christmas Dinner - December 2011

This is what happens when Moriah, Sam, Adam, and I have an intimate Christmas dinner.
Hilarity ensues.
Best friends ever.
I love you all.

Adventure Day - March 2011

This was the day that started off with coffee and breakfast.
Then it turned into an adventure day that included:

Smith & Edward's.
Dinner at Piper Down...gravy fries to die for.
Bowling that turned into gaming.
A nap/homework for me. Provo for him.
Then a hip hop show.

So much fun can be had in 24 hours.

St. Patrick's Day - March 2011

On St. Patrick's day these babes invited me over to celebrate.
We did little St. Patrick's Day celebrating, but we did dance, eat a lot of pizza, and turn the night into our own photo shoot.

Dance party U.S.A.
Stacey has boss moves.
What can't she do?
Photo shoot.
I am not sure why loved that book so much, but we did.
What of it.
Or maybe I didn't love it that much.
That is what my face is saying.

December 2010

I could not have gotten through the last six months without a few amazing friends and my family. Kathe is one of those friends. The kind of friend that you know will always be in your life.

There was this one night in December '10 when Kathe had me over for dinner, catching up, and Spruce Goose wine. Yep, we bought some fancy aviation wine like good tourist should.

It was just what I needed in the midst of everything that was going on at the time.

We found her Grandparents records and record player.
They had my jams on vinyl.
1940-1950's style jams.

Check out the treasures Kathe gave me.
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants cookie jar and train case.
I told Kathe,
"This photo looks very Papa don't preach-ish. At least I got to keep the train case and traveling pants cookie jar...and the baby. Thanks Madonna for paving the way."
This night almost did not get any better.

Until we thought dancing would be a good idea.
I was all sorts of, "Eff you pneumonia and life. Kathe and I are going to try and re-create the Maniac dance from Flashdance."
Cell phone videos documented everything.
Very 2010 of us.
There might have been singing too, but that did not make it on the fancy video phone.
Next time.

Cafe Luna

This was the day Cafe Luna opened.
I would say grand opening, but apparently that is wrong according to Jef.
I do not want anymore lectures on that one.
I am not sure how I can take him seriously with the faces he makes in my photos.
See below for proof of said face.
(Stacey-your husband is clearly lost without you).
I discovered my new favorite salad.
To. Die. For.
Plus! Chadi was my server and I heart her.
I received a lesson in burger dipping.
Looks like this may be the one thing he has not been able to conquer.
Then we decided we don't fit in and came up with this gem.

St. Patrick's Day...

Nate loves so many things about this beverage.
I love this photo for so many reasons.
Too many to list.

Four different amazing friends in one unexpected shot? I accept.

Dancing St. Patrick's day style.

They loved it the most and so did I.
Why?
Dancing never fails....never ever
This guy is a dancing machine.
No seriously.
Dance with him and you are instantly pro.

Friends I miss that parted ways.
That is code for life.
It will get you every single time.
Always the best dancers.
Always.

So many worlds of friends united.

Classic. I love these two.

Best friends that did not even know it in 1997.

Shark Week

This is what an average trifecta coffee night looks like.
Looks like a lot of fun.
It always is at this house.

It is waaaaay more animated and creative than I could ever be.

Months Ago We Went to Black Lips.

Nothing like a good show at Urban. Band art.
Ben and Jordan could not contain their excitement for The Black Lips.

Black Lips. I would like to imagine they are playing my favorite song in this photo.
Girl.Friends.

Note the money in my hand? This proof/information will become important later.

This is when I was proving that I am a hosiery addict. Thanks and no thanks to Elisha to getting me into tights.
Things I will never forget about this night:
-Jordan told me I was too slow for him. Me! Too slow for him?! We almost had our first fight since childhood after that comment.
-I asked Jordan to hold my cash since I did not have pockets in my skirt nor my hosiery. At the end of the night he gave me back $5 dollars-ish. Out of $35. "Um, where is my money citag?" I asked. He lifted up his arms as if he did not know what to do with them and said, "I spent it!" He seemed surprised by his own spending actions, and I think he thought I was a little dumb for being surprised. That was the moment when we extra almost had our first fight since childhood. This aforementioned exchange has now became one of the top ten most funny moments I have ever had with that guy.

Birthday Party Round One

Lauren threw me the best girl's only birthday party ever last weekend.
She is the hostess with the mostess.
Check out those cute mini cupcakes. To. Die. For.

The outfits were incredible.

This is what 30, flirty, and thriving looks like. It is not great Marvin.

I have the greatest friends on the planet. Seriously.
(I missed the friends that couldn't make it, including those millions of miles away.)
This night is on my top five best birthday's list. Thank you to everyone that made my night. AND! Thank you to Lauren for putting together an amazing party full of F.U.N.

Fun Filled Night.

Where dreams come true.

Ames is such a pro. Look at that unbeatable stance.

I am so not awesome at batting, however, I do look good in psychedelic-ness.

This is the part where we made a tofu pumpkin pie. It was questionable. That is okay because hanging out with these two cool broads and playing Rock Band II made up for it.
