Canadian Dave Visits - January 2012

I met this guy on my adventure to visit the Spruce Goose two years ago.
We have stayed friends over the years.
One Saturday he had a layover here, and we had a whirlwind adventure in two hours.
I think we visited every strange sight in this great city has to offer.
Oh, and we listened to Debarge...A LOT.
Turns out he love the Rhythm of the Night, too.

November 2011 - SLC Adventure

Did you know that one can download several guided walking tours of the great Salt Lake?
Well you can.
And I did.
I learned many new facts.
This city is pretty incredible.
Brothels, scandals, and corruptness included.
Gallivan!
I later became friends with the guard here.
He gave me free ice time.
Nice person alert.
Guess what sucks?
I found this rad blue Olympus XA.
I was so excited to take it on this adventure.
So I did.
Then only 2 photos developed.
Camera broken. Heart broken.
So these are the only photos I have of the epic day.

Future us was wine testing too.
I don't even know what is happening, but I like it.
Camera spider hands.

Lunch at the lake with our host.
Figuring out life.
Going back to the city.
We stopped by the Exploratorium.

San Francisco 2011- Part II

Look at all the stuff that can fit in Kathe's tiny little purse!
On our way to Napa Valley we stopped at this rad airport.
This might have been heaven for both of us.

San Francisco Adventure 2011-Part I

Kathe and I decided it was time for another adventure in the fall time of 2011. We decided on a quick trip to San Fran. Adventures with Kathe are never boring.
Classic mid jump pose at Fisherman's Wharf.
So many babes just riding around.
We found these hidden slides in the mission.
All you need is some cardboard.
Sketchy, but oh so fun.
Then we went on a not hike.
Kathe said, "You better change your shoes. This hike is supposed to be strenuous."
So I put on my tennies...
...and the strenuous hike was approximately 10 steps of nothing to this location.
Thanks for watching out for me Kathe.

The fog is incredible.
Somehow each time I visit San Francisco I am amazed by the weather.
I just don't understand the beautiful wonder that is San Fran.
Tourists alert.
Then we went to visit the Sutro Bath Ruins.
Beautiful.
Little did we know that the giant camera was right next to the Sutro Baths.
I didn't think we were going to get to see this thing, and almost Thelma and Louis-ed it with Kathe due to immense sadness.
But.
Found!
Happiest elf looking human on the planet.
Best friends foreves.
After our camera adventures we found the Full House house!
Then we met this guy for dinner.
Sol is the brother of a former co-worker.
His brother said I should become friends with Sol.
You know, because we both run.
Um, he runs the Boston Marathon.
We are totally on the same running level.
We became fast friends anyway.
He loved Kathe too.
We had a great time laughing and shocking the tables around us with our conversations.
Shocking I know.

Holy smokes.
Concrete slide video.
Kathe is a dare devil.

Adventures in Babysitting - May 2011

This is how Jord reminds himself to leave me the car seat.
Loves this.
Ron: Do you have any music for our walk?
Me: Just my ipod and earphones.
Ron: Let's share! I will show you.

It was totes raining.
He just could not get enough of the music.
If I accidentally pulled his earphone out due to my giant stature I got in biiiig trouble.
Big.
Four year old hipster alert.

This guy can run for hours upon hours.
Ro-boat the explorer.

There are no words for how much I love this guy.
So happy I get to be part of his amazing life.
