2009 Christmas Celebration

-Behind on the blog. Slowly catching up.-
Once upon a time one of my best friends, Lauren, thought of this brilliant plan to get together with friends and walk around the city.
First we met at her house for coffee and pillow fights.
Then we hopped on Trax, which soon turned into complication.
Trax was blocked so we switched to a bus.
We clearly did not care.
Look at the happiness on the bus.

We finally made it to our first stop after trax, the bus, and a few blocks of walking.

Temple Square lights.
Then this guy walked past us. Remember that time when you wished you could walk around the temple with your snowboarding gear? Looks like one good time.

Did you know that the Walker Center lights up with different colors and flashes so that the whole city knows what the weather will be for the day/night?
Brilliant.
It is one of my favorite landmarks in the city.
Then we decided to go to dinner. There were many Santa's, elves, snowmen, and the like.
There is always a point in the night where Lauren gets super tired. She is not made for the nightlife. She is an early riser instead. Jealous. This is what her face looks like when it starts happening. Awesome.
Since some people were getting tired so we decided to part ways.
A few of us decided to go dancing.
When we pulled up to park Elisha said, "Oh look! It is a present!"
Quote of the night. Turns out it was not a present for us at all Elisha; just a festive parking meter.
Pre-dancing. That face of mine does not reflect the excitement that was bursting out of my dancing soul.

This night was beyond fun. Thanks to all of my great friends.

WAY behind! ;) Did you hear they are bringing trax down to Traverse Mtn? Yep. And I'm building a house there. With my own two hands!
