Tie-Dye

I was cleaning one day and I got bleach on my hipster grey V-neck.
Sad face.
Thanks to my friend, Modern Day Martha, I decided to tie-dye it with bleach.
Waste not. Want not.
This was the outcome.
Can you believe it used to be grey?
Can you believe rubber bands and bleach will create something so beautiful?
Loves it, and hilarious that I am that into Watchmen in this photo.
Comic nerd.
This was also the day I broke the plane.
Well....just the day the battery died.
I killed it.
A master switch fiasco if you will.
*****
I learned so much that day.
Mistakes equal learning.
CFI thought it was really funny that the propeller was going and my hair was everywhere.
And.
That I was in trouble.
Practically grounded.
He kept taking photos with his phone.
Real funny guy.
I will never forget this day that is for sure.
Me and my Pops being fixer uppers.

Tie-Dye Party

I have this crafty friend.
She is waaaaaaaaaaay cooler, hotter, and more creative than Martha Stewart.
It is true.
She threw a tie-dye party.
She happens to also be an excellent instructor and entertainer.
Thanks teach!
We ate amazing mostly raw food (she catered to me! Best!),tie-dyed towels, and bags.
Bags were tie-dyed so we would be part of the solution, not the problem.
Thanks for an incredible night planet saver.

Craft Town

I found this dress at a thrift store in New York.
It was a thousand times too big and long.
So I altered it to fit me.
That is only one of my most favorite things to do.
I almost made it shorter, but then I realized I would not be able to wear it at work like I am here.
Are work bathroom photos classy?
I believe they are.

Craft Town

My friends seem to be getting knocked up like crazy.
Babies!
This means I have been embroidering bibs.
Embroidering forces me to stop....plus it is fun.
Try it. You'll like it.
I love that there are now great patterns out there that are hip(ster) and not just grandma style.

Practically A Grandma

I made this over the weekend:

How cute will this look with skirts and hosiery? That is right. C.U.T.E.S.T.
Embroidery never gets old.
