Jordan's Christmas Quote

Jordan exclaimed, "Look at this cool little statue of Jesus. Wait a minute, that's not Jesus. That's Hans Solo!"

Grandpa's Birthday Part Deux

Things that were great about this day:

-That I hated my boots because they were half boots....or hoots as we so fondly called them. I had no choice but to wear them. Heels and snow do not mix. Don't worry, we still say hoots on a daily basis for most everything. Hoots!

-The drive there and back was non stop laughing. Road trips rule. Yes, I said rule.

-There is a random guy in the video that is hitting on me. Awkward random Grandpa hitting on me moment. Good job capturing that one on video. He was also a little confused. He told me it was a little inappropriate to be drinking in the church. Um, not a church. Not adult beverages. Thanks for the caveat guy.

-That I would reenact scenes (if laughing is a part of reenacting I win) and dance on cue as per the creative director. I am ridiculously dramatic and loud. Something is probably wrong with me. Wait, wait. Yes, that is an affirmative.

-Gramps told us that greatest memory of all 91 years were his kids. He also told me that none of his neighbors couldn't hear anything, and that is why he refuses to play bingo with them.

-Seeing the extended family never fails for fun. They are the greatest.

Grandpa's Birthday

I didn't take very many photos because. 1a. My camera is on it's last leg. Maybe it lost it's sea legs aka it sucks. 2b. Jordy and I were busy making a movie of the day.
I told Gramps to pose like this. He is 91 and still hilarious. Kids were there.
Cousins were there.

Les decided to throw gang signs whilst Aunts and Uncles pretended to be okay with her new found hobby.
More to come when the movie debuts.

Happy Birthday/Someone Gets Old

We like to try and do tricks in our photos. Here is Old Guy trying to keep plugs in his ears AND blow a bubble. Classy.

I had a Christmas tree prop in this one, but you can't see it. Just imagine it.

This is my Mom lecturing us for not giving her ideas on what to get for Christmas. She is at her wits end I tell you.

Kids can do photo tricks too.

Here is Old Guy taking a nap before blowing out the candles, Mom is still lecturing us, some chips, and my favorite blue cup of 15 years. What a mess.

Christmas of Yore

Every Christmas my Moms (yes, I refer to her in the pural) puts these photos out for all to see. Every year I think they are adorable and hillarious. I grew up with the two greatest brothers on the planet.
There was never a dull moment, and I am pretty sure we all thought we would either be pro bmx bikers (e.g. Cru in Rad) or pro skaters (e.g. Corey in Thrashin'). Once upon a time Tony Hawk even handwrote me a postcard. Believe it. Still have it.
Sadly, I had to bow out of that dream of achievement when I started to become accident prone. Broken bones are jerks.
There is an intruder in this one. Get the neighbor out of there Santa.

Surprise Memory Edit: My parents used to hire Santa to come to our family Christmas parties. Once Jordan and I spied him driving away in a blue Datsun. Our suspicions arose at once.
Want to know what else was rad about Christmas when I was little? My Dad used to let us fly in a helicopter with Santa to the Country Club Christmas parties. Flying with Santa results in fun. I need to find a picture of that.

Christmas Party

The only picture I got from my company Christmas party. Of course it is of me and Citag. Besties foreves! This is right after I went pro at bowling and won the company bowling competition. That is right. Winner. I got lots of good stuff for that feat. Family birthday bowling has been a real benefit, I'll tell you what. The whole night was a good time and I work with some super rad peeps.

The Polar Express/Family Fun

The Polar Express.

This is how we looked when we first boarded Mr. Polar Express.

This is how we looked when we heard we were going to the North Pole and Santa would be there.

Moms y Pops. I had to take multiple photos to get this one. I had to yell, "Is that all you've got? We are on the Polar Express! Look happy, not dead inside." I think they nailed the happiness factor on this one.

Brother #2 and child.

Brother#1 and children.

Pretend sisterhood.

Tan was showing me how to take a picture if I was in Junior High. I would totally fit in.

This is when my Dad thought the Polar Express was a roller coaster.

This is how I felt about crying babies on an enclosed train.

Mr. Claus and nephews.

Creepy Christmas

I was helping my Mom put out Christmas decorations and we found this guy in her nativity set. Suspicious? Oh yes. My Grandmother hand painted this, and was apparently okay with allowing the scream guy to masquerade amongst religion.
Side note: notice his abnormally large hands.Don't believe me? Maybe you should do a little comparing yourself.

Exhibit A. Movie Scream Guy. Exhibit B. Edvard Munch's Scream Painting.
I would also like to say that the formatting in blogspot sucks. I will punch it in the face.

We went to The Red Door

The end.

I Love Funny Texts the Most

"This goes on the not blog. I just saw a girl sitting with a little stand that said this. Earrings for jews anyone?"
Your texts are ALWAYS funny Natalie. Good job. You win. I accept more texts of this nature.

Greatness

New Kids on the Block are still a phenomenon after all of these years. It was bizarre, but oh so fun.
Do you know what else is a phenomenon? That I still know all of the NKOTB dances and lyrics from the days of yore.
Also, no pictures from the event. Saddest. Day. Ever. Really. I have never wanted my camera more than I did that night because there were some fanatical people that dressed the part.
Thanks for an excellent night Science, Stacey, and Donovan.

Announcement

Attention all Cousins.
Birthday party for Gramps December 20th in Burley.
Clear your schedules.
P.S. I am posting this because I sometimes feel like I am the last to know and then I miss out. Boo hoo. Sad face.

JCPenney Catalog

I want to know what is wrong with the arms of the kid in the jeep. More importantly, what was he trying to accomplish with that pose?
In other news: I might have to make my blog private. Thank you ruiners. Consequently that is the the reason I have not been updating. If I choose to do so, you ruiners better start composing an essay that explains why you think you should view this blog. And! Download pictures of people you do not know and that are not yours (creepy). Thanks the management.

Fun Filled Night.

Where dreams come true.

Ames is such a pro. Look at that unbeatable stance.

I am so not awesome at batting, however, I do look good in psychedelic-ness.

This is the part where we made a tofu pumpkin pie. It was questionable. That is okay because hanging out with these two cool broads and playing Rock Band II made up for it.

King Khan and the BBQ Show

King Khan never lets me down in the outfit department. This was a good show, and they played my favorite song. I win!

P.S. On our way to this show I told my brother he better have Judy Is A Punk by The Ramones playing at my funeral. I like to think outside of the box. You heard this breaking news here first.
